Set up by the professional arm of McCartneys LLP specifically to meet the requirements of the modern day. With expertise in numerous fields of operation our members are governed by a code of practice as laid down by the RICS.

Members of McCartneys LLP are proficient in their respective fields with many years experience under their belt and are part of the RICS Dispute Resolution Faculty which represents those who are involved in dispute avoidance, management and resolution in the surveying profession.

Dispute resolution is unique within RICS, because dispute avoidance, management and resolution are areas of professional practice in which surveyors of all disciplines are at one time or another, involved. The dispute resolution process requires proficient communication and negotiation skills to achieve a settlement, whether through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedures, i.e. arbitration, independent expert determination, adjudication and mediation or litigation.
