Simon joined McCartneys in the autumn of 2005 as the Manager at Bishops Castle, a complete career change for him. Prior to life as an Estate Agent Simon spent many years in the catering and hospitality industry and for a time in the mid 1990’s ran his own business, importing, roasting and retailing tea and coffee from around the globe.
Qualified as one of the first Domestic Energy Assessors in the area Simon travels the length and breadth of the Welsh Marches, in his professional capacity, carrying out “Energy Performance Certificates” for residential properties prior to them being placed on the open market.
Married to Joanna, Simon has three children and lives close to Pontesbury with views over the Stiperstones and where he can be seen many an early morning, walking the family dog “Nearly” apparently he nearly is a Labrador!
